Chief Commercial & Delivery Officer·AQVC Raise

Founder·Stevmark Consulting

He spent six years in energy markets learning that every deal turns on the quality of the conversation before the proposal lands. That observation followed him out of London and back to Sarajevo, through the first Business Angel Network in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and eventually to the capital formation layer of global venture, where he now manages a 300+ LP community and architects the narratives that close the gap between a great fund and the money that should back it.

The Pitch He Makes

What it looks like when someone spends fifteen years studying why people commit, then builds a career out of it.

Stevan Marković is Chief Commercial & Delivery Officer at AQVC Raise, a capital formation platform operating across venture and private markets. He manages a community of 300+ LPs, family offices, HNWIs, funds of funds, and sovereign allocators, and leads Narrative Lab, the internal advisory practice where GPs sharpen the positioning and language behind their fundraises. Promoted twice in under two years at AQVC. The AQVC Raise Journal, the platform's Substack on fund narrative and LP pitch strategy, is now a Top 100 publication in Business.

He spent six years at Alfa Energy covering UK and European mid-market accounts across 14 countries, winning the GOLD Pipeline Award twice and maintaining a 96–98% retention rate across 150+ clients. When he left energy, he moved into ecosystem building, first at Mozaik Foundation, then scaling TechSoup's Western Balkans programme from two people to seven, achieving 900% year-over-year revenue growth and lowering customer acquisition costs by 64%. In parallel, he co-founded the first Business Angel Network in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the first Western Balkans Business Angel Community, after co-organizing the region's first Business Angel Summit.

Through Stevmark Consulting, he works with seed-stage founders preparing for institutional capital, sharpening pitch materials, refining investor positioning, and connecting teams with engineering talent from Southeast Europe. His coaching draws on formal training in CBT, DBT, and Schema Therapy applied to the specific pressures of fundraising: how to stay sharp after the forty-seventh LP conversation, how to keep the narrative from going mechanical, and how to hold conviction across a process that will test it at every stage.

Ask him about:
What makes an LP say yes, and what makes them say "not this cycle." The difference between a narrative that earns the meeting and one that earns the allocation. And why most GPs spend more time on the deck than on the story behind it.
What Being In The Room With Him Gets You

Capital formation thinking from someone who has sat on both sides of the table.

Stevan is in Dealion to have the conversations that don't happen inside an active fundraising process when both sides are too close to the transaction to think clearly. Here is what earns its place in his calendar.

The Only Way In

You can't email him directly. That's the point.

The conversations inside Dealion work because they don't happen in public. If Stevan's profile made you want a seat in that room - there's one way in.

You can find Dealion members on LinkedIn. You can sit next to them at a conference. You won't get what we get from each other.

The conversations that move deals happen in a different room. That's the one we built.
