Maja started her career at Infobip when the company had 150 people, and was there when it doubled in size and ARR. She moved to TeleSign as EMEA Marketing Director, stayed a year, then left to build Market Republic.
Market Republic ran for nine years — a B2B growth agency serving tech companies across Serbia, the UK, and the US. At its peak, 25 people and 80% YoY growth. Clients included Twilio, Foursquare, Reuters, and YouGov. She helped generate $276,000 in ARR pipeline for one client in three months and scored 7% lead-to-opportunity conversion for Twilio. She closed the agency in May 2024.
Since then she's been VP Marketing at ActiveCollab and Head of Marketing at Kagi, the ad-free search engine that got covered by The Verge and Ars Technica for challenging Google's model. She's now building The Trust Moat Podcast, interviewing founders and researchers at the intersection of business, technology, and human agency.
Ask her about:
B2B tech marketing strategy, ABM and outbound that generates pipeline, GTM for early-stage tech companies, building a media presence alongside a business, marketing for privacy-first products
She's spent the last year interviewing founders and researchers building the infrastructure layer of AI, and the thesis she keeps coming back to is that trust, not the model, is what compounds.
Why trust is the only moat that holds when AI makes everyone's output look the same
What happens to your brand when AI gets it wrong on your behalf
Privacy-first business models that grow without the attention economy
The conversations inside Dealion work because they don't happen in public. If Maja's profile made you want a seat in that room - there's one way in.
You can find Dealion members on LinkedIn. You can sit next to them at a conference. You won't get what we get from each other.
The conversations that move deals happen in a different room. That's the one we built.
