Founding Partner, wis.dom
Co-Founder, ENGADIN GROUP
Twenty-five years building companies between Switzerland and Southeast Europe. Now formalizing that into a bridge others can use.
Bosnia and Herzegovina, Switzerland, DACH, Croatia, SEE, Middle East, Asia
Cross-border BD, Real Estate, M&A and Exit Advisory, SEE Market Entry
Hasan studied international business at American University in Washington DC, then moved to Switzerland and spent years consulting at Cambridge Technology Partners and Swisscom before starting to co-found his own companies. From 2004, he built and ran ventures in consumer goods manufacturing, capital markets brokerage, and distribution — all with one consistent thread: connecting SEE production and talent with Western markets.
Woak Design was his most visible test of that thesis. Premium design furniture, production in BiH, sold through specialty retailers in DACH, Scandinavia, the Middle East, and Asia. He ran it for six years. He now runs BIOPHILIA (regenerative property development in SEE), ENGADIN GROUP (real estate management across BiH, DACH, and Croatia), and wis.dom
His current focus includes something most advisors in the region haven't touched: structured exit planning for Bosnian and regional business owners who built companies over decades and don't know they have options beyond passing them to family or closing them. He's working on making that process available, professional, and on the owner's terms.
Ask him about:
West-to-SEE and SEE-to-West market entry, what it takes to sell SEE-made products to Western buyers, exit planning and M&A for owner-built companies in the Balkans, real estate and property opportunities in Southeast Europe, cross-border deal brokerage
Twenty-five years working both sides of that bridge gives him a very specific kind of knowledge, what Western companies consistently get wrong about SEE, and what SEE founders don't know they can access.
What Western companies misunderstand when entering Southeast European markets
How to run a structured company sale in the Balkans — and why most owners don't know it's possible
Property and investment opportunities in SEE that European capital isn't paying attention to yet
The conversations inside Dealion work because they don't happen in public. If Hasan's profile made you want a seat in that room - there's one way in.
You can find Dealion members on LinkedIn. You can sit next to them at a conference. You won't get what we get from each other.
The conversations that move deals happen in a different room. That's the one we built.
