Building outbound BD systems from scratch in unfamiliar markets; translating regional expertise into rooms where it wasn't expected
Swedish enterprise tech buyers, ZenDev's engineering network, regional digital ecosystem leaders, e-commerce and digital marketing decision-makers across the Balkans
Haris started his career at a hotel reception desk in Bosnia in 2008. He did everything — front desk, sales calls, marketing materials, event coordination. He didn't frame it that way at the time, but he was learning the one thing that would drive every role after: how to make people feel understood. The best hotel staff make everything look effortless when chaos is happening behind the scenes. That became his standard.
He moved into digital in 2012 and spent the next decade building what the region didn't have yet. Citydeal.ba was the Bosnian Groupon. He ran it as CEO, educating a market that had never bought anything online, working with skeptical merchants and a population that didn't trust paying on a screen. Then came Lilium Digital — a small agency he scaled to 30 people and a top-3 position in the Balkans. During that period he also launched Digital Academy, the largest digital marketing education platform in BiH, and co-founded the Association for E-commerce in Bosnia, doing the slow infrastructure work the industry needed before it could grow.
In 2022 he made a deliberate shift. He moved to Gothenburg and joined ZenDev as Growth Manager with a pipeline of zero. Two and a half years later it's over $2M, built through C-level relationship development in Sweden's most developed industries. Cold email, discovery calls, industry events, pricing frameworks — everything tested. The system that worked was the one built on genuine curiosity about what people actually needed. He co-founded Dealion with Ema Hasicevic in March 2025, because they both understood that the room they needed for themselves didn't exist yet.
Faktura.ba, the invoicing tool he co-founded in 2016 because sending invoices manually was painful, is still running nine years later and serving thousands of users across BiH. He also runs Gigant Media, a digital holding company for projects built on SEO and sustainable digital monetization. His instinct is to build something functional rather than talk about building it.
Sales is fundamentally about making people feel understood and taken care of. I learned that at a hotel reception at nineteen. It hasn't changed since.
We were building e-commerce in Bosnia when people were still skeptical about paying online. Most of what I know about sales came from having to educate the market before you could sell to it.
The best conversations I have with BD professionals happen over coffee, completely off the record. Dealion is an attempt to create more of those — but with the right people in the room.
Through Haris, you get access to specific conversations and connections at the intersection of the Swedish market, the regional digital ecosystem, and the practical reality of building BD from scratch in both.
A direct line to Swedish enterprise decision-makers in tech, manufacturing, and financial services who already know and trust ZenDev — the companies where a warm intro from Haris skips the gatekeeping entirely.
A practical debrief on what it takes to build an outbound pipeline in Sweden from zero — the sequences, pricing frameworks, discovery call structures, and the things that failed before the things that worked.
A conversation with the person who ran Bosnia's e-commerce infrastructure build — merchant education, logistics, regulatory groundwork. Most useful for anyone entering or expanding in BiH and the regional market.
Access to the Lilium Digital alumni network — 30 people trained in digital marketing who now lead teams, agencies, and in-house marketing functions across the Western Balkans.
A working session on SaaS go-to-market for skeptical buyers — specifically what running Robinize taught him about selling AI-powered tools to marketers who've been burned by over-promising software.
An introduction to the ZenDev engineering and nearshoring model for companies looking to build or scale tech teams from the Balkans into Western European markets.
The conversations inside Dealion work because they don't happen in public. If Haris's profile made you want a seat in that room - there's one way in.
You can find Dealion members on LinkedIn. You can sit next to them at a conference. You won't get what we get from each other.
The conversations that move deals happen in a different room. That's the one we built.
