VP of Engineering and Delivery·HTEC Group
Fifteen years in software engineering, from first lines of code to CTO to the person responsible for how HTEC delivers.

Dino Selimbasic is VP of Engineering and Delivery at HTEC Group, where he oversees how complex software products get built and shipped to international clients. Before that, he was CTO of Mistral, a product development company that was brought into HTEC. He has been with the same core team, in one form or another, for nine years.
His career ran the full technical path before he moved into leadership: senior engineer, tech lead, solutions architect, CTO. He worked on fintech products, device insurance platforms, blockchain applications, and payment services, most of it delivered from Sarajevo to clients in the US and UK. He knows what it takes to build distributed engineering teams and keep delivery standards consistent across time zones.
His edge is in the handoff between commercial ambition and technical reality. He has sat with clients trying to define what they want and with engineers trying to figure out what is buildable. He knows where those two conversations break down and how to stop it earlier in the process.
Ask him about:
What it takes to build and lead an engineering team delivering complex software products to international clients from this region.
Dino is in Dealion for the conversations that happen when commercial people and technical people are finally in the same room.
A direct conversation with a senior engineering leader at one of the largest tech employers in Bosnia, someone who manages delivery at scale for international clients across FinTech, payments and insurance.
A working session on what it takes to build a distributed engineering team that delivers consistently, from this region, to buyers who have never been here.
A conversation on the gap between what clients ask for and what is buildable, from someone who has navigated that as both CTO and Delivery Director.
The conversations inside Dealion work because they don't happen in public. If Dino's profile made you want a seat in that room - there's one way in.
You can find Dealion members on LinkedIn. You can sit next to them at a conference. You won't get what we get from each other.
The conversations that move deals happen in a different room. That's the one we built.
