Close to twenty years building the talent infrastructure of the Western Balkans, from the inside. He did not just enter this market. He helped shape what professional recruitment here looks like.

Benjamin Kadic has been building the recruitment and talent infrastructure of the Western Balkans for close to twenty years. He ran the commercial side of Posao.ba, the largest job platform in BiH. He managed international outsourcing delivery for a Prague-based firm with operations across Europe and the Gulf. He founded Popcorn Recruiters in 2018 and built it into one of the most recognized recruitment brands in the region. Then co-founded ABSL Western Balkans, created Recruiters Assemble as a regional conference for HR and recruitment professionals, and became Managing Partner of Talentor Western Balkans, part of a global executive search network operating in over 30 countries.
He also runs People and Properties, which is not just a recruitment company. It handles the full market entry process for international IT and BPO companies setting up in the region: legal structure, tax compliance, financial setup, employment, payroll, office. He used it to help Webhelp open their first Sarajevo office, hiring over 40 German-speaking specialists in 90 days. He now speaks at regional HR conferences with over a thousand attendees and presents talent market data that most companies in the room have never had access to.
He is a sales person by instinct, which is the reason a recruitment company founded in a market without established standards became a known brand. He says Michael Scott is the most accurate leadership metaphor he has used professionally. He started before he was ready, stayed through two crises, came back twice. The network he has took eighteen years to build, which is why people call him before they call anyone else.
Ask him about:
What it takes to hire and set up operations in the Western Balkans, and what the talent market across BiH, Croatia, Serbia and Slovenia looks like right now, from someone who has been tracking it longer than most companies have been aware of it.
Benjamin is in Dealion to share the kind of market intelligence that comes from eighteen years of conversations with IT companies, HR leaders and talent across the entire region.
A direct conversation with the person who has placed more senior talent across the Western Balkans IT and BPO scene than probably anyone else in this network, and who built the industry infrastructure to do it at scale.
A working session on what hiring and setting up operations in the region looks like from start to finish, legal setup, HR, office, payroll, the parts most companies do not plan for until they are already stuck.
A conversation on talent numbers across the region, attrition, salaries, timelines, and how the Balkans compares to competing outsourcing markets, from someone who presents this data at conferences with over a thousand HR professionals in the room.
The conversations inside Dealion work because they don't happen in public. If Benjamin's profile made you want a seat in that room - there's one way in.
You can find Dealion members on LinkedIn. You can sit next to them at a conference. You won't get what we get from each other.
The conversations that move deals happen in a different room. That's the one we built.
