Anja Zajmović Bajraktarević has spent fifteen years inside the financial side of companies, first auditing them, then building their infrastructure from scratch. She is Director of Finance BiH and Director of HTEC d.o.o. Sarajevo, one of the largest tech employers in Bosnia. Before that, she was the first CFO in Mistral's history. Before that, four years in tax consulting, and seven years across KPMG and Deloitte.
At Deloitte she worked on cross-border advisory projects with teams from Belgium, Germany and Denmark. She learned early what happens when a Balkan company tries to operate inside EU financial frameworks and what the documentation needs to look like before regulators show up.
Her background is in the parts of finance most commercial people want to skip: transfer pricing, working capital, cross-border tax structure, financial due diligence. She has been on the advisory side and the operational side, which means she knows what advice holds up once you have to implement it yourself.
Ask her about:
How to structure the financial side of a company moving from this region into EU markets, and what typically breaks first.
Anja is in Dealion to have the conversations that don't happen in a standard advisory context.
A direct conversation with the finance director of one of the largest tech companies in Bosnia, someone who manages the cost structure of operating at that scale in this region.
A working session on cross-border financial compliance for a Balkan tech company, transfer pricing, tax exposure, and where most companies fall short before they realise it.
A CFO-level read on whether the financial side of a commercial expansion has been structured correctly, from someone who has been on both the advisory and the operational side of that question.
The conversations inside Dealion work because they don't happen in public. If Anja's profile made you want a seat in that room - there's one way in.
You can find Dealion members on LinkedIn. You can sit next to them at a conference. You won't get what we get from each other.
The conversations that move deals happen in a different room. That's the one we built.
