Adela moved from Bosnia to Vienna in 2014 with her husband and started as a Tele2 sales trainee. Within three years she was Managing Director of Tele2 IoT for Austria and CEE, having signed 40+ enterprise customers and grown revenue more than 100% year on year across 10 markets. She has been in IoT ever since.
She's now Director of BD Western Europe at MAVOCO AG, an IoT connectivity management platform serving mobile network operators. She also serves as Strategic Advisor at 387 Labs, an AI company building infrastructure and talent pipelines in developing markets, including BiH. Her MBA from WU Executive Academy focused on entrepreneurship and innovation, and her thesis was on AI and the future of work.
She launched "Making it in Austria" in 2020 — a YouTube channel with 65+ interviews featuring people from over 30 countries who built careers and businesses in Vienna. She mentors startups and professionals across multiple organizations, co-organizes the CF diaspora conference, and has 41 LinkedIn recommendations. That last number is hard to fake.
Ask her about:
IoT and connectivity solutions for enterprises and mobile operators, entering the Austrian and DACH market, building a professional network in a new country, connecting Bosnian diaspora to business opportunities in Western Europe
She didn't collect connections. She built a system — and the proof is the 41 recommendations, the YouTube channel, and the diaspora conference she co-organizes every year.

The conversations inside Dealion work because they don't happen in public. If Adela's profile made you want a seat in that room - there's one way in.
You can find Dealion members on LinkedIn. You can sit next to them at a conference. You won't get what we get from each other.
The conversations that move deals happen in a different room. That's the one we built.
